01. How to use the Brinouva UV LED Air Disinfector?

1. Connect the power plug on the BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector to a local power socket. 2. The air disinfector is designed with three fan speeds. Gently touch the switch on the unit’s top 1 second to turn on the air disinfector. 3. The initial speed setting is on High. In about one minute, the unit will automatically switch the speed to normal (Medium). 4. Gently touch the switch on the top of the unit again to switch speed to High. 5. Gently touch the switch again to switch speed to Low. 6. After activating the unit, the indicator at the bottom will go on. The brightness of the indicator changes according to the fan speed: high-low Vs. bright-dim. Gently touch the switch to turn off the unit. Please also unplug the unit from the socket.

02. How does the BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector kill bacteria?

The UV LED air disinfector is equipped with 2 aerospace-grade UVC LED chips, each with a wavelength of 200-280mn, to emit UVC to directly destroy the DNA and RNA structures of bacteria and thereby block their protein formation by irradiation, in order to kill the bacteria or make them unable to reproduce. Therefore, UV disinfection can kill all bacteria and viruses.

03. Why is UV sterilization safer than other ways of disinfection?

UV disinfection is fast, thorough, and easy to operate; contains no contamination; and requires only a low use and maintenance expense. It can kill almost all bacteria, viruses, parasites, pathogens, algae, etc. without causing secondary contamination or toxic substances. For the disinfection objects, UV does not cause corrosion, contamination, and residues to bring you a safe, energy-saving, and pollution-free healthy lifestyle and reduce environmental loads.

04. Does the BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector require consumables?

Activated charcoal filters. The activated charcoal filter performs adsorption with activated refined powdered charcoal to effectively filter odors, hazardous chemical substances, or dust and flakes of larger sizes. Users are recommended to replace the exclusive filter after using it for 90 consecutive days or after 2,160 hours. However, the exact filter life is subject to the air quality at points of use.

05. How to replace the filter for the BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector?

Turn off the UV LED air disinfector and unplug the unit from the socket. Tightly grasp the upper half of the unit with one hand, and tightly hold the upper half of the front cover and open it from the top with another hand until you hear the ‘click’ sound. Then, remove the activated charcoal filter from the unit. Next, put the new filter in the holder, gently press the filter with two fingers by the edge to ensure that there is no seam for air to get in. Close the cover, connect the plug to the socket again, and turn on the unit. Attention: Dispose of the scrapped filter properly.

06. The BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector cannot be activated?

Please check if the plug is connected to the socket. Press the touch switch on the unit for about 2 seconds.

07. Why does the fan speed become lower?

Please check if the vent is blocked. Please check the filter’s condition. If it is too dirty, please replace with a new filter. Make sure that the filter package is removed completely. Handle with care. Do not damage the filter.

08. Why there is noise in the RINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector?

Please check if the vent is blocked. Please check if the filter is too dirty. If yes, replace with a new one. Low noise is normal when the air disinfector is running.

09. Does the BRINOUVA UV LED Air Disinfector come with a warranty?

The product comes with a one-year limited warranty under normal use from the date of purchase. An examination fee and postage will be charged for parts replacement after the warranty expires. The warranty does not cover product damage caused by natural disasters, user’s negligence, or unauthorized modification.
